See it in action.

Import or create any project

Start from scratch, clone from GitHub, spin up from a boilerplate, or open a local repo. Any kind of project, in one place. Then pick the git workflow that fits how you ship: vibe mode, branches, or parallel worktrees.

Turn your codebase into a full overview

AIDEN reads your entire project and turns it into a technical and business overview: architecture, dependencies, conventions, and what the product actually does. Every agent works with full context, not just the open file.

An IDE that bends to your workflow

Split views like VS Code, but every panel is yours to arrange. Pin chat next to the browser, drop the terminal under tests, dock the board beside your diff. Your screen, your rules.

Everything a dev needs, in one workspace

Browser, console, git, code, terminal, and live preview, all built in and arranged your way. Run the dev server, tail logs, check a diff, and ship without ever leaving AIDEN.

Idea to shipped feature. Fast.

Spec first. Agents second. You ship.

01

Drop in your project

AIDEN maps your whole codebase in one pass: architecture, dependencies, conventions, entry points. Every agent starts with full context, not just the open file.

How specs work →
02

Describe the feature

Say what you want. AIDEN writes the spec for you: scope, acceptance criteria, affected files. You approve once before any code is written.

Why specs matter →
03

Agents build in parallel

Every story gets its own branch and its own agent: Claude Code, Codex, or both. Ship five features at once while the board tracks each agent live.

Parallel agents guide →
04

Review and merge

Each agent opens a pull request with tests. You review a clean diff, not a stream of keystrokes. Merge what ships.

What is an agentic IDE? →

Stop running air traffic control.

10 tabs. 10 threads. 10 branches. Zero overview. AIDEN puts every agent in one workspace.

10 terminal tabs, each running its own agent.
Every agent in one workspace. Always in view.
No clue what each agent is doing, or what shipped yesterday.
A live board shows every agent, task, and status.
Window-switching across 10 apps destroys your focus.
One IDE, one workflow. Every agent inside it.
Code quality dies when you can't follow 5 agents at once.
Specs, branches, and reviews gate every PR before merge.
You stopped reading the code. You're just hitting accept.
Agents explain. You review. Real engineering, not babysitting.

K

AIDEN is built solo by Kylian Migot (@leonlykiks), an independent developer who got tired of juggling 6 Claude Code terminals with no overview of what was shipping. AIDEN exists because the tooling for multi-agent development didn't — so he built it.

What does AIDEN need to run?
AIDEN is a desktop orchestrator that runs on top of your local Claude Code and/or Codex CLI. You need at least one of them installed and configured on your machine. AIDEN handles the workflow — boards, branches, specs, agents — while the CLIs handle the model calls.
Do I need both Claude Code and Codex installed?
No — one is enough. AIDEN works with either Claude Code or Codex, and even better with both (you can route different stories to different agents). If you don't have either, the AIDEN setup will walk you through installing one in a couple of minutes.
Where do my API keys live? Does AIDEN see them?
Your keys live where Claude Code and Codex already keep them (~/.claude, ~/.codex, or wherever you configured them). AIDEN never reads, copies, or transmits your API keys.
Is my code sent anywhere by AIDEN?
No. AIDEN is a desktop app — your code stays on your machine. The only outbound network calls come from your local Claude Code or Codex CLIs talking to their own providers (Anthropic or OpenAI), exactly like they do today without AIDEN.
How is AIDEN different from Cursor, Windsurf, or Copilot?
Those are chat IDEs — you prompt, they suggest, you accept. AIDEN is an agent orchestrator — it plans, branches, codes, tests, and opens PRs across multiple agents in parallel. You review the work, not every keystroke.
Can I use my existing repos?
Yes. Open any local repo, clone from GitHub, or batch-import a whole stack. AIDEN maps the architecture, dependencies, and conventions before agents touch a single file.
Windows and Linux — when?
macOS 12+ today. Interested in Windows or Linux support? Email support@aidenapp.org.
$99 once — what's the catch?
No catch. $99 unlocks unlimited projects forever, with every future core desktop update included. If AIDEN ever adds cloud sync, collaboration, or hosted team features, those will be optional paid add-ons. The desktop product stays buy-once.
